Vera & Tom’s wedding took place in North Wales on The Isle of Anglesey. This was a super stylish DIY wedding from beginning to end – it was elegant, rustic and unique!
Everything about this day was so relaxed with Vera & Tom’s personal touch running through every little detail. For a start the whole day took place at Tom’s family home. When we arrived in the morning, Vera’s parents were quietly putting the finishing touches to their gorgeous marquee styling and we even spotted a bridesmaid pottering around the gardens picking wild flowers for Vera’s bouquet. Meanwhile Vera was getting ready in the house with her bridesmaids taking care of hair and makeup. Their ceremony took place in a beautiful wooden barn that was nestled away in woodlands just a few steps away from the main house. To top things off, their celebrant was a close friend, making it even more personal and moving!
Another friend headed up the catering side of things, producing a constant supply of mouthwatering food that had been cooked over fire pits in the garden. Even the party in the evening felt more like being at an epic house party with their mates on the decks! This all happened deep in the Welsh countryside, where everything was so relaxed that time seemed to have almost stopped for a day. It all felt pretty magical!!
