Whether it’s an epic, dance-til-midnight kind of day, a short-and-sweet ceremony, or something in between, we’re there for it. Sometimes it’s both of us, sometimes just one — we tailor things to fit your plans. However your day looks, we’ll capture it as it felt: no awkward posing, no stiff setups, just real, honest moments. As documentary wedding photographers, we focus on the good stuff — the laughs, the calm, the chaos — all the parts that make your day yours.

We’ve been photographing weddings for over 15 years now and in that time, we’ve seen it all (and quietly captured most of it). We’ve photographed all kinds of celebrations across the UK — from laid-back garden parties in the Cotswolds to wild dancefloors up north and some unforgettable celebrations overseas. Every wedding has its own magic! Wherever the setting, our approach stays the same: relaxed, unobtrusive, and genuinely present.

A FEW OTHER THINGS ABOUT US

It all kicked off in the ’90s for Lou — armed with a Kodak film camera and a head full of curiosity on a family trip to Paris. There’s even a photo of her, sitting on the metro with that camera in hand (still one of our favourites). She hasn’t looked back since.


Tim caught the photography bug a little later — all thanks to Lou. Back when we lived in London, we’d spend our weekends roaming the streets, always with a film camera in tow. That’s really where it began for us: a love of capturing people as they are, in the moment. No fuss, just real life on film.

Our love for photographing people started on the streets of London — capturing real life and fleeting moments. That same documentary style still drives us today. Weddings just happen to be the best kind of streets to walk down: full of energy, emotion, movement, and real stories. People just being themselves.

We’re based in the Midlands but rarely stay still for long — especially when photography, food or travel is involved (ideally all three). We recently got married in Italy and couldn’t resist turning it into a full-on European road trip. It was the perfect excuse to explore new places and of course, take far too many photos.


When we’re not behind the camera, Lou’s probably out running (competing in races all over the UK & abroad) or taking it easy on the yoga mat. Tim’s usually in the boxing gym, kickboxing, or producing weird and wonderful house & techno in the studio.

We’re both big on looking after ourselves and always up for an adventure — which is probably why we love this job so much!
